Marion City Commissioners approved a proposal to extend the auditorium stage in the city auditorium by seven feet. The Marion High School carpentry class led by teacher Roger Schwab will build the extension.
Brad Putter of Marion recently won a cruise trip to the Bahamas in a contest sponsored by John Deere Credit. Putter is a salesman at Marion Equipment Company.
