Marion received approximately three inches of snow Sunday while some surrounding areas received anywhere from 10 to 14 inches.
The building on the southwest corner of Main and Roosevelt, formerly used as a dental office, has been purchased by Marion County Hospital District No. 1.
Stephanie Koop, bride-elect of Nick Kraus, was guest of honor Feb. 15 at a come and go bridal shower at Holy Family Activity Center.
The Marion High School Singers will perform Saturday at the Kansas Music Educators Association 2003 state convention at Century II in Wichita. The singers include Heidi Zogelman, Brandi Peterie-Shipman, Hannah Eis, Justin Brookens, Andrew Gayle, Tyler Miesse, Tyson Heidebrecht, Becky Tharp, Megan Helmstead, Molly Rhodes, Erin Fruechting, Rebecca Savage, Clayton Chamberland, Joe Svitak, Tyler Smith, and Matt Rhodes.
Lenore Mitchell of Marion and Larry Dieter of Denver, Colo., were married Dec. 21 at the Marion Christian Church.
Four Marion High School wrestlers, Chelsea Arnhold, Zac Ewert, Steven Boone, and Jordan Trapp, have qualified for the 3-2-1A State Tournament Friday and Saturday at Fort Hays State University.
