Approximately 240 vendor booths will offer a variety of articles for sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Art in the Park.

Troy Hett is pictured standing in the doorway of his burned-out home at 280th and Mustang Road, near Tampa. The fire started late Sept. 8 as Hett and his two sons, Tristen, 7, and Jace, 5, were asleep in an upstairs bedroom. They were awakened by smoke and escaped through a window.

Marion High School class of 1999 celebrated its five-year reunion Sept. 5. Members, their families, and guests gathered at the east shelterhouse at Marion County Lake for a barbecue, to catch up with one and another, and to enjoy the Labor Day fireworks.
Nadine and Delmar Iseli, residents of Marion County Lake, have joined with Jami Williams of Marion in opening an antique shop at 162 W. Main.
