A breakdown of the ballots cast Tuesday on the liquor-by-the-drink question indicated a majority of yes votes in Marion, Florence, and Peabody. Hillsboro voters recorded 656 no votes and 499 yes.
More than 200 motorcycles and 18 classic cars paraded down Marion’s Main Street Saturday in the 11th annual Marion County Toy Run. Donations included 22 bicycles and a mountain of toys. Initial figures show the run raised approximately $10,000 for needy families.
