St. Luke Living Center recently purchased a new van because of the generosity of St. Luke Hospital Auxiliary and the family of Lorraine Hadsell. Pictured receiving the $25,500 check from the auxiliary are chief financial officer Hillary Dolbee, auxiliary president Judy Reno, chief executive officer Jeremy Armstrong, and Debbie Craig, director of the living center.

Marion High School students Sonja Steinborn and Travis Hett were named king and queen of courts Friday before the start of the Marion-Lyons boys’ varsity contest.

Marion Chamber of Commerce executive secretary Margo Yates received a gift basket from chamber president Don Noller during the annual chamber banquet Jan. 29. Yates was recognized for her service with the chamber and Marion REC programs.

The 2007 winter homecoming candidates at Centre High School are Thieen Antoszyk, Lance Diepenbrock, Seth Jirak, Megan Gutsch, Alyssa Luna, and Chelsey Tajchman.
