Work on Temple Begun
Monday morning Lon Mott and a force of men began the excavating for the new Masonic Temple. The temple will be located on the northeast corner of Main and Third and Walter Sharp’s contract calls for completion not later than April 1st.
The trees have been removed and the work of excavating is progressing rapidly. The corner looks bare now but the whole city is rejoicing over the fact that before many months Marion will have another fine building on her principal street.

The house has a picturesquely beautiful location on the hill and is close to the central part of the city and is yet secluded and entirely removed from the dust and dirt of the streets. It is situated two blocks directly south of the High School building and would make a very desirable place for any who may wish to educate their children at one of the best High Schools in central Kansas. The house contains nine rooms, three closets, and a good cellar. Cistern, well, stables, etc., are among the other improvements. The premises include about two acres of land.
