E.F. Sheldon and his son-in-law, Robert Florer, have bought and taken charge of the moving picture house, which has been operating for several months under the name of the “Wonderland Theatre.” The purchaser will undoubtedly handle the business in a way that will make it more popular than ever and in a way that will reflect credit upon the town.

There will be an entertainment and box social at the Sunflower school house, formerly known as Whipple, on Friday evening. Everybody cordially invited.

Kieferle & Williams will dissolve partnership and with that in view they are advertising to sell their hardware and implements at both the Marion and Lincolnville stores at cost. The business will be continued by Mr. Kieferle while Mr. Williams will devote his time to his duties as county attorney.

The Evans Electric Co. is moving into the old Headlight office east of the new Masonic Temple. A plumbing department will be added and an expert plumber will be brought from Wichita to take charge of the work. Justus Evans manages the business and they have been doing a large business in the electrical line.

Five books, Story of Jerry Simpson, A Pioneer from Kentucky, Scottish Chiefs, Robinson Crusoe and True Path were donated to the library last week.
