Fashion note for the men—The spring clothes have begun to come in. The coats have sleeves, lapels and pockets—much the same as last year’s styles. They come in various colors. Collars will be worn again this season. Many handsome shades of suspenders are being shown. The prevailing material for belts will be leather.

If the boy who lost a good coat that had a jack knife in one pocket will call at this office he can recover his property.

Word is received from Pecos Valley, New Mexico, that George Kline has sold his home farm of eighty acres. He sold it for two hundred dollars an acre. He paid sixty-five an acre for it. And, that isn’t so bad, either. Of course, he has put improvements on the place, but there is another item on the other side to be considered—the reservation of certain valuable water rights when he made the recent sale.

The park improvement fund was swelled to the extent of about $50 by the proceeds of the Frederick Warde recital.

The road drag as been used on one or two streets in town with almost surprising results. These drags are so cheaply made, have demonstrated their efficiency so many times and are so easily operated that it is a wonder they are not more generally and more frequently used.
