Horses and mules wanted

Jacob Bros. of the Kansas City Stock yards will be in Marion March 5 to buy horses and mules. They will buy mules from 4 to 10 years old. Also, will pay an extra price for draft horses. Horses and mules must be fat. They will be here no matter what the weather is.

Mr. Sam T. Howe, member of the State Tax Commission, stopped off here on Monday to spend the day with relatives and old Marion friends. He was a guest of Mr. Fred Frazer.

This office would be glad to pay 3 cents a pound for some clean cotton rags if anyone has more than they know what to do with.
