The Rough Rider ran away from Taft in the county primary Tuesday and got a big majority of the votes.
The Commercial Club has taken action looking toward a celebration of the opening of the new Santa Fe station. The present prospects are that the building will be ready for use in about six weeks. Effort will be made to have some of the Big Guns of the road here for the occasion. The building is certainly going to be a beauty.
Supt. E.A. Spady of the Lincolnville schools had members of the graduating class in Marion Monday showing them places of interest. The following constitute the class: Sarah Bagenske, Park Hammer, Carl Jernberg, Ollie Wight, Helen Kregar, Bertha Klatt, Minnie Riffel, Tressie Langer, Edward Tiemeier, Jeannette Oursler, Vivian Wight, Ethel Schambron, Velma Bond, Ella Spangler, and Margaret Grinstaff.
The rear balcony floor in the Richardson grocery has been converted into a Ladies’ Rest Room—for patrons of the store and any other ladies who may care to avail themselves of it.
Harry Rogers and Miss Vella Niederhauser will give an entertainment in Lost Springs Friday evening. Mr. Rogers appears as an impersonator and monologist and Miss Niederhauser as a vocalist.
