M.H.S. is to play basketball this season. The Hirschler garage having been leased and fitted up and practice has begun. A large squad of both boys and girls has been working out this week. Although it has been two years since M.H.S. played basketball, there is plenty of good material for a good boys’ team and a good girls’ team.

I.F. Loewen has sold his dray line to Simmons Bros., who came here from Hays City, and who will live in the residence just south of the Free Methodist Church.

Mr. Wilkinson has sold the big feed barn to Mr. Lindenberger of Canton and the new proprietor takes charge tomorrow. Mr. Wilkinson has not yet decided upon a new location.

There will be a turkey shoot Friday, December 20 at Lincolnville. Geo. Kaiser and Herman Henke are the promoters.
