The Frisky Thermometer

The thermometer has been doing some great stunts the past week. A week ago yesterday it stood 20 below zero—the lowest this season—and yesterday it stood at 57 above. A change of 77 degrees in one week would be hard to beat, even in Kansas. There was quite a little snow last week but it has all disappeared the last few days.

Business Changes

M.B. Faidley has sold the Auditorium lease to Fred Ferm of Salina and Mr. and Mrs. Ferm have come here to take charge.

H.M. Foust, proprietor of the Variety store has rented the whole of the room where he now is located—heretofore having only the front end—and this will give him about twice the space he now has.
