The Youngtown Sunday School observed last Sunday as “Go to Sunday School Sunday” and the folks out there certainly must have done some hustling. There were 187 in attendance—by far the largest attendance, they have ever had. Wouldn’t they have a great time if they would do that right along? And why not?

Siebert Bros. of Canada had a car of flour shipped in last week and sold nearly all of it from the car.

Arthur Burkholder is a charter member of the fraternal organization of “K” Men at the Agricultural College. Forty-nine athletes are members of this fraternity, the object of which is to further the interest of athletics at the Agricultural College.

Major Fred Lewis is planning to build a modern bungalow on the site of his present residence. He has revolved the plans in his mind for a long time and is anxious to see them grow into reality. He says the house will be “very Dutch.”

The Marion band will give a concert on Main Street Friday night.

The City Commissioners have let the contract for the Denver Street paving, ordered in upon petition of property owners some time ago. Three blocks, east from John Watson’s corner to Dr. C.C. Jones’ corner, are covered by the contract. The pavement will be of brick with macadam instead of concrete base, and with cement filler instead of asphalt filler.
