The movement to establish here a city hospital is making progress and at a meeting of stockholders last night, the bylaws were adopted. The incorporation will be completed within a few days. The two private hospitals now existing will be discontinued in the interest of the new, general institution.

Mr. and Mrs. James Ely moved this week into their new home on the south hill.

Arthur Tarbet has sold the Red Cross Drug Store to Taylor Riddle and the change of management took place on Monday. Will Wible will remain in the employ of the store, and John Riddle will be a helper about the store when he is not in school.

Josiah Good has let a contract to Rudd & Evans for the installation of a hot water heating system in his residence.

Three new pictures have been added to the gallery of “Old Timers” in the courthouse collection. One is of T.O. Kelley, one of Thos. J. Wise and one of W.H. Hamilton. Mr. Kelley came to this county in 1887 and served as probate judge 1910-1912. Mr. Wise was one of the real pioneers, coming from St. Louis in 1860. W.H. Hamilton came from Illinois in 1872 and served as county clerk from 1880 to 1886.
