The bases for the cannon and balls referred to last week are being erected on the court house grounds this week. They are of rock, with rustic effect. Fred Frobenius is doing the work.

Josiah Good and Tom Matlock expect to leave for St. Louis today to inspect some engines that are being considered in connection with the city plant problem.

The marriage of Miss May Claney and Mr. F.C. Stinchcomb was solemnized May 12 at 8 o’clock at the home of the bride’s parents in Aulne. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A.C. Nesmith.

A full page advertisement by the Aulne Automobile Company lists the features of the 1915 Maxwell, “The Wonder Car.” Priced at $695, the car can be purchased with an electric starter for an extra $55.

Orville Miesse went to Aulne Tuesday to open a harness repair shop. Chas. O’Bryant will put in a stock of goods over which he will have charge.
