The walls of the new city power house are up and the roof is being put on. The building is going to make an excellent appearance.

Charley Neiderhauser was quite severely bruised Sunday night as the result of an auto accident, but is getting along all right. He was coming from Peabody in his car and while Clarence Winchester, with Mrs. Winchester and Mr. and Mrs. Will Wakefield, as the other passengers, was driving past him. The car in some way locked and Charley’s car was turned over. He was unconscious for 20 or 30 minutes.

Sidney Holder, for 20 years with W.W. Loveless Sons, has accepted a position with the Marion Produce Co., and would be pleased to have his friends call and see him.

Mrs. Cecil Phillips entertained a company of girls at a taffy pull Saturday afternoon, the guests being Misses Alberta Pantle, Janie Chapman, Blanche Roberts, Georgia Wakefield, Helen Roberts, Lenore and Marie Shahan.
