Miss Effie Harrison has been retained as librarian by the City Library board, and here is a good place to say what everyone knows, that she has rendered fine service in this capacity.

Miss Mary Sackett came home from her school at Hillsboro last Friday not feeling very well and on Tuesday of this week the case was diagnosed as small pox.

Miss Effie Farmer left the last of the week for Kansas City to spend some time at millinery headquarters procuring the spring styles. She will spend the millinery season with Mrs. Schaeffler at Hillsboro.

Mr. and Mrs. S.B. Winchester moved last week into their new home opposite the high school grounds.

The High School was dismissed last Thursday morning because it was impossible to get the rooms warm.
