All Invited to call and see how Domestic Science course in starting out.

The course in Domestic Science is a new thing here and a good many people do not know how it is carried on or what it endeavors to cover. The people of the town are asked to visit the department at any time and see how the work is conducted.

Miss Nystrom, the instructor, will be glad to have the patrons call, either while classes are in session or at other times and will take pleasure in showing the equipment and explaining the nature of the work being done.

The rooms are upstairs in the Dean building. The tables used accommodate 12 girls at a time and are specially designed for the purpose served. Each girl has her own place to work and her own utensils.

These tables are arranged in the shape of the letter U and the instructor stands in the center where she can conveniently give instructions while the class is in session.

Then there is a two-burner oil stove for the use of every two girls—the stoves being placed just behind the girls as they sit or stand at their assigned place at the work table. The rooms are also fitted with steel range, sink, refrigerator and other necessary equipment.
