Beebe-Forney

Last night occurred the wedding of Mr. Fred C. Beebe and Miss Gertrude Forney, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Forney. The pretty home and parlors were tastefully decorated in hearts, palms and autumn leaves, and were filled with invited guests to witness the short but impressive ceremony at eight o’clock by Rev. H.M. Gillmore of the Christian church of which the bride is a member. After the ceremony, the guests partook of an elaborate supper.

Eighty guests were present, all of them life long friends of the contracting parties and wish them well.

The presents were selected with such good taste and thought for the recipients that duplicates were avoided and all are useful and beautiful as well.

The bride has grown to womanhood in Marion and is justly popular while the groom has been on the night shift at the Rock Island so long he is considered a fixture in the city.

The happy couple expect to leave today for a trip to Newport, Ark., and Chicago.

The Record joins their host of friends in best wishes.
