Harry Mason having purchased Mr. Dudley’s former residence has removed it to his beautiful lots on the corner of Lawrence and Cedar streets. We learn he has rented it till October, after which the enterprising young owner may need it in his business.

There will be a church sociable at the residence of Mr. J.H. Buchanan this Friday evening, which everybody is cordially invited to attend. A pleasant sociable time and lots of good taffy may be confidently expected by all who attend.

A report of School No. 2, Antelope, says the following pupils were neither tardy or absent: David Grindstaff, Samuel Grindstaff, Harry Bromwell, Grant Bromwell, Althea Bromwell, Oliver Brooks, Emma Brooks, Louis Brooks, and Thomas Reed.

Taylor Riddle has been appointed general manager of the Water Works and Electric Light plant, vice W.W. Case resigned.
