Marion county sold $933,655 worth of livestock last year.

Marion county has 48,720 acres of as fine oats as you ever saw.

Marion county fowls yielded their owners $48,329 last year. That’s worth crowing about.

Marion county’s eighty thousand acres of wheat is about the finest “stand” ever raised in this county. It is much the largest acreage.

Marion county had $138,229 worth of farming implements on hand on the first of March. How much more they would have had if it had all been properly housed last winter, we cannot state.

Corn was called a failure last year, but Marion county farmers pulled through the winter and came out in the spring with 194,616 bushels still on hand, all the same.
