Marion Community Christmas, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Marion County Food Bank each will receive $75 donations from 20th Century Club.

Additional individual donations were taken for Marion County Food Bank Nov. 3 at Marion City Library.

Hostesses for the meeting were Karen Regnier and Macky Taylor. Fourteen members and three guests answered roll call with how they keep warm in the cold weather.

A delicious potato soup and wrap with a pumpkin dessert was served by Ida French and her son.

Jeff and Laurie Methvin of Prairie Oaks Alpaca presented a very interesting and informative program about Alpacas and the products they sell in their local business.

Members decided to purchase two books for the library’s Eye Witness Encyclopedia.

The next meeting will be 7 p.m. Dec. 15 at Marion City Library. A $10 gift exchange will be held and snacks will be served.
