Marion County Health Fair will be repeated Saturday at the high school gymnasium. Free health screenings are offered to everybody, 18 years of age or older.
City of Marion commissioners continued to study the possibility of establishing an industrial park at Monday afternoon’s regular session. Representatives of the Industrial Development Committee of the Marion Chamber of Commerce, presented information on the subject.

Mike Bina, a senior at Marion High School, set a school record April 22 at Berean Academy, Elbing, when he took first place in the 1600-meter run with 4:35.8, breaking by two seconds the old record set by Stan Williams.

Marion High School’s chapter of Future Farmers of America again won the “sweepstakes” award during a recent regional contest. Pictured with trophies and plaques they won are Michelle Thole, Mike Meisinger, Brent Hayen, Lynette Lalouette, and Mark Meisinger. The chapter has won the district sweepstakes award for the eighth year in a row according to Mark Worchester, chapter adviser.
