Martin Tice has been elected president of Marion Chamber of Commerce for the coming year. Gene Winkler will be vice president; Leland Heidebrecht, secretary; and Kathy Sprowls, treasurer.

Wayne R. Colle, Marion County agency manager for Farm Bureau Insurance, will retire from that position Dec. 31. Steve Kill, a veteran agency manager, coming from Elk County, will replace him Jan. 1

The second volume of “Jokes Priests Can Tell” is off the press. Msgr. Arthur Tonne’s first volume was such a success, that a sequel was called for. And, the Pilsen priest has already started compiling jokes for volume three.
