Bettie Batt gave a talk on the Passion Play at Oberammergau at the Monday noon meeting of Kiwanis Club. Bettie and her husband, Dean, recently returned from a 17-day tour of seven European countries and the 350th anniversary performance of the Passion Play.

Three Bobs were among the hundreds attending the annual 4-H Businessmen’s Picnic Thursday evening in Central Park. The three Bobs pictured are Bob Harris of Marion, Bob “Sandy” Sellers of Florence, and Bob Bevan of Lost Springs. Bob Spachek of Lincolnville was nearby, but out of camera range.

Ten riders saddled up Saturday as the Cottonwood Valley Saddle Horse Association put on its “Fun Day’ at the arena on Stadium Road east of Marion.
