Marion Warriors have been named to the various CVL All-League teams. Chosen as a first-team offense member was Robb Hartley, halfback. Named to the second team were Alan Kruse, fullback, Neil Hett, center, and Calvin Hett, tackle. Jason Allison, guard, and Chris Smith, end, received honorable mention. Named to the defensive first-team was Chris Smith, defensive back. Second-team members were linemen Dirk Kennedy and Calvin Hett, Hartley, end, Ed Zeller, linebacker, and Eric Thies, defensive back. Florence residents turned out Sunday afternoon to admire the vehicles of two antique car clubs that had stopped in town. The 25 cars from Wichita and Salina spent the afternoon in Florence shopping, eating lunch, and talking car restoration with Jerry and Cathy Sutherland, owners of Franklin Buggy Werkes.
