CVL statistics show the Warriors at the top of the heap with a 6-2 record.

Four students from Marion are among 23 Tabor students who are taking a cultural tour of the east. They are visiting historical sites of the American Revolution including Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Williamsburg and Boston. Among those on the tour are Andy Ferrell, Terry Fruechting, Joanne Popp, and John Popp, all of Marion.

Joseph Alan Ragole, senior in mechanical engineering at Kansas State University, has been inducted into Tau Beta Pi, prestigious national engineering honor society. Ragole is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ragole of Marion.

Royalty crowned at Centre High School Friday night were Joe Nowak, king, and Janelle Poppe, queen. Both are seniors.

Sandra Kay Anderson and Roger Wayne Jackson were married Jan. 3 in Valley United Methodist Church. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Max Jackson, all of Marion.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Winter, Marion, announce the birth, on Jan. 18, of their second son, Todd Wade. Shad Winter is the guest of his aunt and uncle, Mr and Mrs. Terry Silhan at Pilsen while his mother and baby brother are in the hospital.

Kathy Kelsey and Mark Rathert were married Jan. 3 in Marion Christian Church.
