Marion Elementary School third-graders prepared gift stockings the center distributed to its meals on wheels recipients on Christmas Eve.
Jim and Lydia Gates and Margaret Wilson presented a lively holiday music program, followed by Bingo called by Gene Winkler. Janie Westerman handed out prizes.
A baby lamb was a surprise visitor that a few seniors got to pet at the back door.
The center distributed turkeys from the Kansas Food Bank this past week.
Marion County Senior Citizens met at the center Dec. 20. Vickie Kaempfe and Shirley Moore provided refreshments. The seniors celebrated Westerman’s birthday, as well.
