Forty-eight descendents of Christopher C. Williams, James K. Williams, and Lucy E. Williams Crawford from six states met Sunday at the Marion County Park and Lake Hall for an annual reunion.

Pictures and memorabilia were displayed. Special attention was given to the memory of cousin James S. Kline, who died in March.

Ruth Lott of Peabody welcomed the group. Ben Jiles of Mountain Home, Ark., offered a prayer before a potluck dinner. Joel Jiles of Arkansas spoke about railroad history and current safety, and Robert Harris spoke about a restored railroad caboose in Florence.

A short business meeting established Ruth Lott, Gwen Heckathorn, and Clara Bremer as officers. The next reunion will be June 13, 2012, at the lake hall.
