Goessel Community Foundation presented four grants Sunday at the annual community picnic to support various community endevors.

The recipients include:

• USD 411 Board of Education, $200, school/community garden.
• Kinderhaus Preschool, $475, student scholarships.
• After-School program, $475.
• Bethesda Home, $1,020.

Myron Schmidt, chairman of the Goessel Community Foundation presented the checks.

Goessel Community Foundation is affiliated with Central Kansas Community Foundation, based in Newton.
