Santa Claus theme winners in the home decoration division were the Junior Bredemeier home, first; Wilbur Razor residence, second; Ann Rathert, third. Religious theme: D.B. Jantz, first; Glenn Kline home, second. First prize in church decorations was awarded to Evangelical United Brethren Church. Second place went to the Presbyterian Church and third to the Christian church.

Some $2,500 to $3,000 in cash, plus a valuable collection of old coins, and an unspecified amount of narcotics were stolen in an early morning robbery today, Wednesday, at Higgins Rexall Drug Store in Peabody. The break-in was the second at Marion County drug stores in the past few weeks, with narcotics the apparent goal.

An improvement at the Marion High School football field that officials feel will be greatly appreciated by fans has been underway the past week. The field is being moved about 15 feet to the east.

Ed Siebert came from Fort Riley Friday evening to spend a 15-day leave with his parents. He will return to the post Jan. 3 and leave Feb. 1 for duty in Germany.
