An unusual 5-generation picture was taken Sunday at St. Luke Hospital. The great-great-grandmother, Mrs. Fred Scharenberg, 90, is receiving treatment there for a broken hip suffered a few days earlier. Next in line is her son, Joe Scharenberg, then his daughter, Mrs. June Jost, then her daughter Gaila Falls of Lincoln, Neb., and Gaila’s 2-month-old son, William Jeffery.

Norma Sly and Nadean Kruse left via plane Thursday evening to spend Easter with Joyce Conyers and Glenda Razor in Laguna Beach, Calif. They returned to Marion Tuesday evening and report the weather in Kansas is much nicer than in California.
