The Community Guild Christmas program, featuring some of the most talented musicians of the community, will be given Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. Miss Irma Wymore will be the narrator. Mrs. E.D. Longhofer will contribute narration. Some of the music will be especially arranged by Mrs. William Staub.

Boyce Baumgardner of the Marion National Bank staff is the new president of Marion Athletic Association. He succeeds Jack Helmer who has filled the position for the past year.

Wedding vows were solemnized at Eastmoor United Methodist Church November 20 by Vivian I. Mott and Harold H. Conyers.

Five one-act plays were presented to an audience of 250 in Pilsen school hall Sunday by the Newton Deanery Catholic Youth Organization with the Pilsen CYO taking first place. The cast of the play consisted of Kathy Kroupa, Anita Rudolph, Robert Holub Linda Loney, Tommy Dvorak, Richard Stika, and Danny Rudolph.

The engagement of Karen Marie Jost to Melvin Peter Enns is announce by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Jost of Marion. A spring wedding is being planned.

There were only two winners in this week’s Cash Days drawing. They were Mrs. Walter Ruby of Marion and Amelia Vinduska of Pilsen. Those not present were Mrs. Jim Bass, Mrs. Leon Lais, and Mrs. Jerry Holub, all of Marion.
