Marion County Farm Bureau office is moving over this weekend into their newly constructed office building at 1122 East Main.

The five winners in this week’s Thursday night Kid’s Drawing were Glen Hett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hett, who won a bicycle; Billy Hess, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hess, watch; Jimmy Hoch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wharton Hoch, Hot-Rodder Engine; Wanda Hett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hett, microscope, and Diana Case, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Case, Barbie doll house.

Wedding vows were exchanged by Shirley Jo Dale, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dale of Florence, and John R. (Rocky) Hett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hett of Marion Nov. 7, in the Florence Methodist Church.

A Christmas program was given by Mrs. Robert Edmunds, Sandra Anderson, Shelley Batt, Deborra Case, Pam Griffith, and Susan Wood at the Dec. 6 meeting of Neo Century Club at the home of Mrs. James Fruechting.

Al & Art’s advertises Turner’s Chili, a Marion County product, for the special price of 49c per pound and Grade A whole fryers for 29c per pound, or cut up, per pound, 33c.

A farewell coffee for Mrs. Roland Vogel was held Nov. 30 at the home of Mrs. Bob Kelly. Mrs. Vogel will soon be moving to Parsons.
