Stanley Manahan of Peabody is one of a small group of graduate students who earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree this semester at University of Kansas.

W.H. “Bill” Temple, longtime Peabody automotive dealer died suddenly from a heart attack suffered on the street here last Saturday.

Amy Dallke of Burns, mother of LeRoy Dallke, died Dec. 21 at St. Luke Hospital in Marion after an illness of four months.
