The interior of the Peter Pan Ice Cream Store has been completely remodeled from ceiling to floor, with new walls and fixtures. Mrs. Homer Reinke owns the building and the manager of the store is Mrs. Ruth Matthews. The public is invited to drop in Friday or Saturday to see the remodeled store.

Four juniors at Marion High School will represent the town at the annual Sunflower Girls State and Sunflower Boys State. The girls are Diann Wiens and Teresa Seifert and the boys are Myron Frans and Daniel Steinel.

Miss Phyllis Stenzel, bride-elect of Ralph Kreutziger, was guest of honor at a bridal shower March 28 in the Evangelical United Brethren Church Fellowship hall.

A Marion girl, Alice Kraus, has been seen in the living rooms of Central Kansas quite frequently during recent weeks. She appears in several commercial on television. Alice, a 1965 graduate of Marion High School, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kraus. She is a sales secretary at KAKE-TV in Wichita.

Marion students will have an opportunity this weekend to see the fabulous “Six Flags Over Texas” historic amusement park between Dallas and Fort Worth. The trip is sponsored by the Santa Fe Railway. Students will be excused from school if they want to go. One staff member has agreed to accompany the group as a sponsor.
