Dr. T.C. Ensey moved Tuesday to share the Dr. Goodsheller offices over the Marion National Bank. The doctors announce they will practice individually, sharing only office and equipment.
For the second year in a row, boy babies have outnumbered girls in this area. This year out of 83 births, 44 were boys and 39 girls. The same was true in 1949 with 40 boys and 28 girls.
Misses Anne Burkholder, Pat Brose, Patricia Harris, Donna Hobein, Donna Jean Christensen, and Mary Heath and Tim Burkholder, Mahlon Wheeler, Joe Bill Gound, Bud Hannaford, and Kerns Allen were among guests at a party Saturday evening hosted by Harold Poe at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Poe, Peabody.
Miss Ruth Ann Haizlip, whose marriage to Mr. Harry Haas took place Sunday, was complimented at a miscellaneous shower Dec. 28 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Hostesses were Mrs. E.M. Popp, Mrs. Charles Batt, Marie Meier, Lydia Meier, Kathryn Popp, and Donna Pankratz.
The men and boys of the Youngtown community had a wolf hunt on Thursday. Quite a bit of territory was covered and the group got four coyotes, with a few others getting way. Another hunt is planned for Jan. 11.
Everything is covered with a sheet of ice this Tuesday morning.
