Capacity crowds jammed the city building auditorium last week on Thursday and Friday nights. The style show on Thursday was the finest ever and the variety musical entertainment Friday night was equally well received. Hundreds of observers commented on the attractive basement booth displays, and outside exhibitors were favored with two almost perfect days.

Marion Boy Scouts held their first camp-out of the season Friday night when 26 of them spent the night on Dogfish Island. Harold Byram was camp director; Marvin Wunsch and Harold Shields, assistants; Dan Brodhead, Dale Hobein, David Wheeler Jr., and Gordon Wingerd, patrol advisers.

Kansas scores again, in giving the best. The duster on Sunday was one of the best. It was the best of the worst most ever seen. The wind was just short of tornado proportions part of the time.
