A number of friends were entertained at a Halloween party Saturday evening at the home of Jan Rathert. Those present were Lisa and Diana Vinduska, Janice Weber, Ethel Brunner, Dorothy Hedrick, Sue Summervill, Sue Ann Bratton, Ruth Muck, Bess Haizlip, Carol Conyers, Margie Winters, Dena Gleason and Joyce Remmers.
Mr. and Mrs. Junior Herzet announce the birth of a baby boy Oct. 29 at the Slifer Clinic, Florence. They have named him James Alfred.
Georgene Tajchman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tajchman, became the bride of Harold L. Byram at 9 a.m. Oct. 27 at St. Mark Catholic Church. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Byram. Father Matthew Wyse performed the double ring ceremony.
