The Dramatics Club of Marion High School will present a two-act play, “Home for Christmas” Dec. 23. Students in the production are Wanda Propp, Ann Davies, John Williams, Judy Thatch, Pat Hart, Bob Mehlinger, Carolyn Merrill, Janet Priddle, Carol Jean Allen, Laurence Griggs, Paul Roberts, Joy Burnett, LaVern Hoffman, Sam Jewett, and Elsie Smith.
Ben Ireland has moved his awning shop from his home to his recently acquired property on Main Street. He handles a complete line of sweepers, awnings, venetian blinds and overhead garage doors.
Mr. and Mrs. John Brose and Laurie moved Saturday into their new home on North Cedar Street, which they lately purchased from Sylvester Vinduska.
Mrs. Ralph Rogers entertained a group of the kindergarten crowd Tuesday afternoon in celebration of her daughter, Elaine’s, fifth birthday. Aviation Cadet Leslie A. Powell, son of Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Powell Sr. of Marion, has arrived at Webb Air Force Base in west Texas to begin the basic phase of his jet fighter pilot training.
