Thanksgiving Day is a week away and Christmas will be here before we know it. With so many people out of work or working fewer hours, those of us with jobs should count our blessings.
One way to count our blessings is to share our good fortune with those less fortunate.
Each year, community volunteers spearhead charities to help those in need. Gifts, food, and money are collected.
Many of us know what it is like to live without necessities or know the hardship in providing for our families and ourselves.
This year, we all need to dig a little deeper not only in our pockets but in our hearts and offer compassion with our donations.
We do not know what that person or family has been through or what is in store for them in the coming months. Let us give with no strings attached and no judgments.
