3600 block Quail Creek Road north of 365th Road
Jessica Bell, 21, 210 E. Fourth St., Ramona, rolled her vehicle after heading into a ditch proceeding swerving to miss something while driving northbound on Quail Creek Road at 10:20 p.m. Oct. 12. Bell and her passengers, Charles Henderson, 19, 210 N. B St. Ramona, and Edward Williams, 17, same address as Bell, were transported by Marion County Ambulance by 11:25 p.m. to Herington Hospital. Bell was driving a 2000 Chevrolet registered to William Bell, of the same address as Bell.
Indigo Road and 160th Street
William Rogers, 52, 702 S. Lincoln St., Hillsboro, struck a deer while driving northbound on Indigo at 11:50 a.m. Oct. 14. Rogers was driving his 2003 Hyundai Elantra. Nancy Rogers, 51, of the same address, was a passenger at the time.
K-15 milepost 119 north of K-215
Jack Kerbs, 81, 320 S. Freeborn St., Marion, struck a stopped school bus driving northbound on K-15 while the bus was unloading children at 3:40 p.m. Oct. 5 at mile marker 119. No injuries were reported in the accident. Randolph Schmidt, 79, Newton was the driver of the bus registered in his name. Kerbs was driving his 2004 Ford.
U.S. 56 east of Eagle Road
Terrence Masterson, 72, Inman, suffered from a unknown medical condition, passed out, and struck a stop sign driving east on U.S. 56 3 p.m. Sept. 30. Masterson was driving a 2011 Ford van registered to Ean Holding LLC for Hutchinson Junior College. He had eight passengers, all either 19 or 20 year old males. No injuries were reported.
U.S. 56 and Kanza Road
Carl Schmidt, 41, 1469 260th Road, Marion, failed to stop at a stop sign on Kanza and struck David Smith, 68, 2332 Pawnee Road, Marion, who was driving west on U.S. 56 at 7:50 a.m. Oct. 10. Smith and his passenger, Effie Smith of 2331 Pawnee Road, Marion, were transported by Marion County EMS by 8:21 a.m. to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Schmidt was driving his 1990 Honda CRV. Smith was driving his 2007 Ford Fusion.
1000 block of Indigo Road at 90th Road
Louis Maurer, 75, 208 S. Kennedy St., Hillsboro, struck a deer while driving north in the 1000 block of Indigo Road at 8 p.m. Oct. 9. Maurer was driving his 2005 Buick LeSabre.
Indigo Road and 90th Road
Nicholas Paige, 16, Wichita, pulled off at 90th Road to make a U-turn and did not see Beverly Plett, 52, 404 S. Washington St., Hillsboro, at 10:48 a.m. Oct. 8. Plett struck Paige. No injuries were reported. Paige was driving a 2006 Dodge registered to Norma Gray, Wichita. Plett was driving her 2004 Saturn. Norma Gray, 64, and Courtney Nichols, 13, both of Wichita were passengers of Paige.
Arbor Court and Willow Glen Lane, Hillsboro
Kelly Schlehuber, 47, 407 W. Arbor Court, Hillsboro, struck a parked car driving west on Arbor Court at 12:30 a.m. Oct. 6. The parked car, a 2006 Pontiac, is registered to Katie Mount, 402 Arbor Court, Hillsboro. Schlehuber was driving her 2010 Chevrolet.
110 N. Jefferson St., Hillsboro
Clayton Maloy, 24, 110 N. Jefferson St., Hillsboro, struck a gas meter outside of his apartment at 10:05 Oct. 12. Maloy was driving a 2005 Silverado registered to Samuel Maloy, Van Alstyne, Texas.
