U.S. 56 near North Cedar Street, Marion

A deer was struck and killed at 6:51 a.m. Nov. 12 on U.S. 56 near North Cedar Street, Marion, by a 2003 Ford van, driven by Karl D. Schafer, 50, Galva. The van was registered to Eagle Plumbing of Galva.

U.S. 56 near 260th Road

A 1995 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Andrew Carl Gaschler, 25, Manhattan, was northbound on U.S. 56 near 260th Road at 10:22 a.m. Nov. 13, when a deer ran onto the road and was struck.

Indigo Road near 100th

Todd Delane Vogt, 41, 1087 190th Road, Hillsboro, was southbound on Indigo Road near 100th in a 2005 Chevrolet pickup at 8:25 p.m. Nov. 13, when a deer came from an east ditch and was struck and killed. The pickup was registered to Jerold W. Vogt, 109 N. Wilson St., Hillsboro.

1600 block of Indigo Road near 150th

A 2005 Ford Focus, driven by Kelsey Diane Mann, 20, Wichita, went left of center, entered a west ditch on Indigo Road, and flipped twice at 1 p.m. Nov. 14. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels in the west ditch.

The driver was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital with possible injuries.

U.S. 56 near Pawnee Road

A deer was struck on U.S. 56 near Pawnee Road at 5:35 p.m. Nov. 14, when Carl Clinton Holdren, 36, McPherson, was eastbound on U.S. 56 in a 2002 Ford Escape and the deer came from a south ditch.
