A deer was struck at 4 p.m. Feb. 12 on 290th Road near Remington by a 2006 Honda passenger car, driven by Kenneth R. Novak, 63, 3039 Mustang Road, Tampa.

U.S. 56/77 near 310th Road

A 2004 Chevrolet pickup, driven by Moises Fernandez, 60, Wichita, struck a deer at 8 a.m. Feb. 14 on U.S. 56/77 near 310th Road.

200 block of North Ash Street, Hillsboro

A 2003 Buick passenger car, driven by Yunietta M. Taylor, 87, 706 W. A St., Hillsboro, was backing west from the Hillsboro Senior Center lot in the 200 block of North Ash Street, Hillsboro, at 12:46 p.m. Feb. 17, when the vehicle struck the left front of a 2002 Ford pickup, owned by Carmon R. Jones, 40, 1362 U.S. 56, Hillsboro, while it was legally parked on the west side of Main Street.

100 block of North Main Street, Hillsboro

Rufus Phillip Lohrenz, no age listed on the report, 1359 Jade Road, Hillsboro, was southbound in the northbound lane in the 100 block of North Main Street, Hillsboro, in a 2005 Buick passenger car at 3:24 p.m. Feb. 17, when the left corner of the car struck the left rear corner of a 1999 Chevrolet pickup, owned by Paul Penner, 935 230th Road, Hillsboro. Lohrenz told police he believes he fell asleep.

1400 block of U.S. 50 near Mustang Road

James A. Olsen, 38, 1126 Quail Creek Road, was driving a 2007 Ford passenger car at 7:25 p.m. Feb. 17 in the 1400 block of U.S. 50 near Mustang Road, when he couldn’t avoid hitting a deer on the road. Sarah Olsen, 24, of the same address as the driver, was a passenger.

A Street near Main Street, Hillsboro

A driverless 1999 Pontiac passenger car, owned by Susan Schultz, 317 S. Cedar St., Hillsboro, backed down A Street at 8:50 a.m. Feb. 18, striking a 2007 Ford pickup, parked on the street. Hillsboro Ford of Hillsboro owned the truck.
