These accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

Sunflower Road near 220th

Andrew Alan Strauser, 26, 1616 240th Road, Marion, was driving a 1985 Ford Bronco north on Sunflower Road at 11:30 p.m. Feb. 5, when he lost control of the vehicle on gravel, causing it to go in to an east ditch, and struck a hedge post. Matt Druse, 24, 201 N. Cedar Street, Marion, was a passenger.

2200 block of Remington Road near 230th

Christopher Stuchlik, 47, 1718 300th Road, Lincolnville, was traveling south on Remington Road in a 2000 Pontiac passenger vehicle at 6:40 Feb. 18, when a deer jumped in to the path of the vehicle and was struck.

3200 block of Limestone Road near 310th

Anna M. Stika, 77, 313 Roosevelt Street, Tampa, was driving a 1995 Mercury passenger vehicle north on Limestone Road at 9 p.m. Feb. 18, when a deer ran in to the path of the vehicle and was struck.

U.S. 56 near Old Mill Road

Jayde Nelline Hess, 21, 1980 Ridge Road, Marion, was driving west on U.S. 56 at 11:30 p.m. Feb. 19 in a 2001 Ford, when a deer came out of a south ditch and ran into the left side of the vehicle.

Milepost 321 U.S. 77 at 340th Road

Arthur H. Schlesener, 70, Herington, was traveling south on U.S. 77 at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 21 in a 2008 Volvo truck registered to Sonlite Express Inc. of Laurel, Neb., when he came to 340th Road. He was making a right turn when Fred H. Krebs, 63, Ewing, Neb., driving a 1995 Jeep Cherokee attempted to pass Schlesener on the right and was struck. Jenny A. Batchelor, 64, Herington, was a passenger in the truck.

Milepost 100 U.S. 77 near 140th Road

William G. Harris, 40, 2589 120th Road, Florence, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet truck north on U.S. 77 at 6:40 a.m. Feb. 23, when he came up on several deer crossing the road and was unable to stop and struck one of the deer.
