1500 block of Sunflower Road

A deer was struck and killed at 9:45 p.m. April 12, when Regina Rene Martinez, 32, Newton, was southbound in the 1500 block of Sunflower Road in a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier and the deer ran in the path of the vehicle.

U.S. 50 near Yarrow Road

The driver of a 2002 Chrysler passenger car could not avoid hitting a deer at 8:30 p.m. April 16 on U.S. 50 near Yarrow Road. Pamela, J. Kriton, 53, Burnsville, Minn., was eastbound when the deer entered the road.

U.S. 77 near 250th Road

A dog was struck and killed when Paige Alison Henry, no age listed on report, Kingman, was driving a 2004 Chrysler passenger car at 4:50 p.m. southbound on U.S. 77 near 250th Road and the dog came from a west ditch.

1300 block of Sunflower Road

Marlene C. Goentzel, 50, 120 Eastmoor Drive, Marion, was southbound in the 1300 block of Sunflower Road at 6:35 a.m. April 20 in a 2010 Toyota passenger car, when a deer ran into the path of the car and was struck.
