U.S. 56 at 230th Road

A 1992 Whitestar truck driven by Ronald R. Herpich, 71, Herington, struck a 2007 Ford pickup driven by Jason Dunsford Wheeler, 32, of 1737 170th Road, Marion, after Wheeler had slowed to turn from U.S. 56 onto 230th Road at 10:40 a.m. June 8. The pickup was registered to Shawmar Oil and Gas Co., 2838 U.S. 56, Lincolnville.

Nighthawk Road near U.S. 50

A 2006 International truck driven by Steve Allen Kahn, 52, of 204 S. Birch St., Hillsboro, struck a deer at 9:45 p.m. June 8 on Nighthawk Road.
