The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:
500 block of South Adams Street, Hillsboro
Dustin Lee Kuhlman, 19, Garden City, was eastbound in an icy parking lot in the 500 block of South Adams Street in a 2002 Ford Mustang at 9:55 a.m. Dec. 10, when he lost control of the vehicle, striking the rear of a parked car and the right side of a second parked car. Passengers in the car were Trevor A. Angell, 18, Pinellas Park, Fla., and Antonio M. Goodson, 18, Eustis, Fla. The Mustang was registered to Derek Kuhlman of the same address as the driver.
The first parked car was a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse, registered to David Toevs, Whitewater. The second car was a 2001 Toyota Solara, registered to Daniel Jost, 2156 K-15, Hillsboro.
360th Road near Quail Creek
Chester R. Mercer Jr., 43, 309 C St., Ramona, was eastbound on 360th Road near Quail Creek in a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass at 7:25 p.m. Dec. 18, when a deer entered the road causing the driver to lose control on the gravel road. The right side of the car struck a concrete bridge railing and the right front wheel hit a hole. The driver was not injured.
Indigo Road near 120th
Susan D. Schultz, 55, 317 S. Cedar St., Hillsboro, was northbound on Indigo Road near 120th in a 1999 Pontiac passenger car at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 19, when a deer came from a ditch and was struck. The driver was not injured and there was more than $1,000 in damages reported.
Kanza Road near 260th
Kathleen D. Salamone, 20, 325 W. Third St., Tampa, was southbound on Kanza Road near 260th in a 1996 Ford Ranger at 8 p.m. Dec. 20, when the truck hit a patch of ice and entered a ditch where it rolled one time. Jon Simon, 18, Newton, was a passenger. The vehicle was registered to James Simon of Newton. There were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages.
U.S. 56 near K-15
Max L. Liby, 67, Hutchinson, was westbound on U.S. 56 near K-15 in a 2009 Chevrolet pickup at 6:12 p.m. Dec. 21, when a deer ran on the road and was struck. The pickup was registered to Hutchinson Salt Company, Hutchinson. The driver was not injured.
U.S. 56 near Alamo Road
Jason L. Myers, 35, 308 N. Main St., Hillsboro, was eastbound on U.S. 56 near Alamo Road in a 1998 GMC pickup at 6:35 a.m. Dec. 22, when a deer entered the road and was struck. The driver was injured but the report did not indicate if he was transported to a hospital.
Meridian Road near 260th
Matthew S. Jirgens, 39, 372 260th Road, Lehigh, was southbound on Meridian Road near 260th in a 1993 Honda Civic at 5:15 p.m. Dec. 22, when a deer came from a west ditch and was struck. The driver was not injured.
Sunflower Road near 150th
Robert H. Raleigh, 63, 130 S. Coble St., Marion, was southbound on Sunflower Road near 150th in a 2008 Toyota passenger car at 8:53 a.m. Dec. 23, when a deer entered the road from an east ditch and was struck. The driver was not injured.
