The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

400 block of South Washington Street, Hillsboro

A 2000 Ford Explorer, driven by Lauro Lopes, 20, 316 S. Date St., Hillsboro, was attempting to turn east from Washington Street onto D Street at 5 p.m. Feb. 15, when the vehicle struck a street sign and fire hydrant.

The vehicle was registered to Antanacio Ochoa Nieto, of the same address as the driver. The sign and hydrant were owned by the City of Hillsboro.

The driver was not injured.

Indigo Road near 120th

Gail Denise Kliewer, 53, Newton, was northbound on Indigo Road near 120th in a 1997 Ford van at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 20, when the vehicle slid sideways on the snow-covered road. The driver inadvertently turned on the cruise control while applying brakes, losing control of the vehicle. The van rolled in an east ditch and onto its side.

Passengers in the vehicle were Lydia Kliewer, 11, Abby Kliewer, 14, of the same address as the driver; and Grant Friesen, 9, and Madison Friesen, 12, of Udall. No one was injured.

U.S. 50 near milemarker 295

The hood from a vehicle came off while the vehicles were being towed by Benito Isidro Rodriguez, 39, Emporia, who was driving a 2000 Ford F250 pickup and towing another vehicle eastbound on U.S. 50 at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 20.

Carrie Lyn Newell, 30, 820 E. Main St., Marion, was driving a 2008 Ford passenger vehicle on U.S. 50 when she could not avoid running over the hood. Gabrelle A. Newell, 4, and Skylar M. Newell, 8, of the same address as the driver, were passengers.

Benito Isidro Rodriguez, 39, Emporia, was driving a 2000 Ford F250 pickup and towing another vehicle.

There were no injuries reported.

190th Road near Remington, Marion

Adam M. Stewart, 25, 321 S. Cedar St., Marion, was eastbound on 190th Road near Remington in a 1998 Dodge Neon at 5:38 p.m. Feb. 20, when he lost control of his vehicle on the icy road. The vehicle struck a bridge rail. The driver was not injured.

U.S. 50 near Maple Street, Peabody

Sheila R. Porter, 41, Wichita, was eastbound on U.S. 50 near Maple Street in a 1996 Chevrolet Impala at 6:34 p.m. Feb. 20, when the vehicle slid on the icy overpass, striking a guardrail, and sliding in a ditch. Callie Porter, no age given on report, Wichita, and MacKenzie Redger, no age given on report, 732 110th Road, Hillsboro, were passengers. There were no injuries reported.

U.S. 56 near Remington Road, Marion

A 2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup, driven by Jerry Lynn Blackwell, 48, Topeka, rolled at least four times down an embankment on U.S. 56 near Remington Road at 6:45 p.m. Feb. 20, after the driver lost control on the icy road, sending the truck down the embankment. The driver was not injured.

U.S. 77 near U.S. 50, Florence

Kristy Sue Hamilton-Janssen, 37, Parsons, was not injured when her 2007 Chevrolet passenger car struck a guardrail on U.S. 77 near U.S. 50 at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20.

Sunflower Road near 190th, Marion

Charles G. Kannady, 64, 2250 Highway 256, Marion, was northbound on Sunflower Road near 190th in a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis at 8:50 p.m. Feb. 20, when he lost control on the icy road and entered an east ditch. Linda G. Kannady, no age listed on report, of the same address as the driver, was a passenger. Neither passenger was injured.

120th Road near Goldenrod

Lily M. Wittig, 34, Newton, lost control of her 2002 Honda Civic on 120th Road near Goldenrod at 9:52 p.m. Feb. 20, because of ice on the road. The car entered a ditch, coming to rest on the driver’s door. The driver was not injured.

140th Road near Sunflower

A 2005 Jeep Liberty driven by Cecilia L. Haney, 23, Overland Park, was damaged at 10:30 p.m. Feb. 20, when the driver lost control of the vehicle on the ice-covered road on 140th Road near Sunflower. It entered a ditch and rolled on its side, breaking through a barbed wire fence. The driver was not injured.

Indigo Road near 120th

Andrea Nytra Robinson, 22, Broken Arrow, Okla., was northbound on Indigo Road near 120th in a 2001 Volkswagen Beetle at 8 p.m. Feb. 21, when she lost control on the ice-covered road. She was not injured.

Indigo and 110th roads

Grace A. Humphries, 21, Wichita, was not injured when she lost control of her 2000 Acura Legend at the intersection of Indigo and 110 roads at 8:06 p.m. Feb. 21, because the road was icy. The car entered an east ditch and came to rest in a drainage ditch.

190th Road near Goldenrod

Cory J. Abbott, 17, 108 E. First St., Hillsboro, was eastbound on 190th Road near Goldenrod in a 1992 Ford Explorer at 12:30 a.m. Feb. 22, when he lost control of the vehicle on the ice-covered road, entering a north ditch, and rolling the car on its roof. The driver was not injured.

The vehicle was registered to Beverly J. Flaming, 103 E. First St., Hillsboro.

Nighthawk Road near 130th

A 2006 Ford F-250 pickup, driven by Mikki E. Oursler, 34, 611 Plum St., Peabody, struck an embankment on Nighthawk Road near 130th at 7:25 a.m. Feb. 22, because of icy conditions. The driver was not injured.

U.S. 56 near Remington Road, Marion

Christina Jean Hoffner, 37, 2918 180th Road, Marion, was eastbound on U.S. 56 near Remington Road at 6:04 p.m. Feb. 22, when a deer came from a north ditch and was struck. The driver was not injured.

600 block of North Ash Street, Hillsboro

Jeffrey Lee Karow, 35, Wichita, was backing from a parking stall in the 600 block of North Ash Street, Hillsboro, in a 2010 International Truck at 4:15 p.m. Feb. 26, and struck a 2000 Mercury passenger car that was parked in the lot. The car was registered to Mark Lloyd Pagenkopf, 2421 310th Road, Lost Springs. The truck was registered to New Bern Transport, Wichita.

The driver was not injured
