250th Road and U.S. 56

Alissa Diane Albrecht, 26, of 817 E. 140th Ave. N., Peck, flipped a 1973 truck after its brakes failed at 5:05 p.m. June 22.

No ambulances were needed for Albrecht or her passengers — Layton Albrecht, 21 months, also of Peck, and Carol Vogel, 55, of 2351 Upland Road, Marion. The truck, owned by Randall B. Vogel, also of Upland Road, had to be towed.

Indigo Road north of 240th Road

While trying to go around a parked grain truck, Larry L. Hamm, 75, of 115 S. Wilson St., Hillsboro, rolled a 1981 grain truck onto its side, spilling a load of wheat at 3:15 p.m. June 24.

Hamm was taken by ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital. The truck, owned by Gregory K. Wiens, 817 250th Road, Hillsboro, had to be towed.

Olive and 9th Streets, Peabody

Cars driven by David E. Beckner, 66, of 611 N. Olive St., Peabody, and Michael James Strotkamp, 36, of 606 N. Olive St., collided as Beckner was turning at 4:33 p.m. June 21.

Beckner’s 2007 Saturn had to be towed. Strotkamp was driving a 1998 Oldsmobile owned by Johney R. Strotkamp, 820 E. 12th St., Lot 21, Newton.

Remington Road north of U.S. 56

Emalee Jeneal Versch, 25, of 126 S. Cedar St., Marion, flipped a 1995 Mercury at 10:30 a.m. June 23 after dropping off the roadway and overcorrecting.

Versch was taken by ambulance to St. Luke Hospital. The car, owned by James D. Versch, same address, had to be towed.

Indigo Road south of 100th Road

Joseph N. Wuest, 26, of 400 S. Jefferson St., Hillsboro, hit a deer at 10:15 p.m. June 21.
